I changed the second chapter's name to
Run! seeing that I wasn't able to fit the villain into that chapter (I'm trying to keep each chapter about 3 pages long so that I don't over do myself and I stay on target). So here's the next chapter!! Or at least a part of it
Listening to: Love Me Dead by Ludo (hehe, copying you Ghia *giggles*)
Chapter Three: Not Wanted
By the time Ruben had jumped into the elevator, fans had already swarmed around the doors, trying to get a picture of him. Following Ruben was no longer an option.
Steve jumped at Jim, pushing him away from a fan who was about to tackle him.
This is worse than the concert chase in California! Bermuda ducked, missing an out reaching arm that was trying to grab him.
With that one, we actually had open range to run! Al answered. Hey, you two are getting better at this.
Jim and Steve dodged a group of fans. Thanks, were starting to get used to it. Jim grabbed Steves shoulder and pushed him down.
Say, where did Ruben go? Steve asked, popping back up.
Jim pushed him down again. Stay down! He got in the elevator, remember? Hes most likely safe outside getting the security.
I think not, Al nodded with his head up toward the second floor where Ruben was grinning mischievously down at them.
A little help, Ruben? Bermuda shouted.
Ruben crossed his arms. Hmm, the last time I remember when I tried to do anything, you all gave me a sedative.
Were not going to give you one. Just please, help us! Steve begged.
Do I get a months supply of syrup? Ruben questioned.
Boy, hes good. Jim commented.
Yes, good...but not as good as me. Al noted. He raised an arm, pointing up at Ruben and at the top of his lungs screamed, Look! Its Ruben!
All the fans looked up, letting out shrieks of delight, and ran to the elevator.
No fair! Whyd you do that? Ruben gave Al a betrayed look.
You need the exercise.
Ruben let out a yell and disappeared, running away from the fans who had reached the second level.
Steve and Jim took off, taking advantage of the fans who were detracted. They crept into a book store and before anyone saw them, entered a room marked Employee Only. The room was stocked up high with boxes full of book, but on the far side of the room there was another door which, once Jim opened it, reveled some stairs.
Captain Ollie: She's not your usual teenage writer.
