I heard on the news about a week ago that tuba player Tommy Johnson died. He was most famous for playing the two notes of the Jaws theme. Here's his obituary

http://www.variety.com/article/VR111795 ... Id=25&cs=1

Then I got to thinking, wasn't he the tuba player on most of Al's Polkas? I did some research in the archive section of weirdal.com

Tommy Johnson - tuba
Huffin' and puffin' for the polka medlies on POLKA PARTY!, OFF THE DEEP END, ALAPALOOZA, BAD HAIR DAY, RUNNING WITH SCISSORS, POODLE HAT and STRAIGHT OUTTA LYNWOOD. That's also him on the tuba solo in "Smells Like Nirvana", "Spy Hard" and "Polkamon."

I can only assume that's him. He was on 7 Albums. one more than Ruban ;) Rest in peace Tommy......

Tuba....or not Tuba

That IS the question.

P.S. Maybe someone could repost this in a more appropriate section. I'm still too much of a newbie to post anywhere else

P.P.S. Plus all the white out gets in my way hehehehehehehehehe
