I didn't know a single other attendee, but Jim and Diana were kind enough to chat with me a bit. Diana made sure I knew about tomorrow's release.
Eeek! I'm jealous
I still can't believe you told Diana about my story
Captain Ollie: She's not your usual teenage writer.
Benefit of living in Los Angeles County: excellent access to a lot of Jim & Steve's solo gigs. And you go to enough of them, they start to remember your face.
"Weird Al" has a charisma that's all his own. The awkward, the misshapen, the socially inept flock to his banner.
Hey I just saw this on Facebook. Is anyone planning on going?

Description
Join Jim "Kimo" West for a free performance/demonstration of Hawaiian ki ho'alu guitar at the library in downtown Manhattan Beach. He'll play selections from his latest CD "Kimo's Hawaiian Slack Key Christmas" and autograph it for you for those lucky enough to be on your Christmas list. Who knows, there may even be some singing and hula there too!
I couldn't tell a dirt clod from a plate of caviar.
Of course. I am so grateful to be working, you have no idea. I was being very facetious (as in, just got a job and already complaining). Don't worry, missing a Jim West concert is much less a misfortune to me than getting evicted
