I've had a sneaking suspicion that the video will be live action as well, but then again there's the animated snippet during the live shows...

It's just animation to go with the song. You hear tater tots and they appear on screen. It's magic

Yeah, the animations follow the song very closely, I doubt its gonna be used for the actual video, but you never know..

I saw that Cris Shapan is the animator for the Whatever You Like video, so I asked my friend who works at Tim & Eric's production company and he sent me this info:
Cris did all of the artwork for Tom Goes To The Mayor and Season 1 of Tim and Eric Awesome Show. I know he has worked with Al in the past on videos for live shows in the past. He's a really funny, really talented graphic artist. I know he makes videos from time to time as well. I haven't spoken with him since November and I haven't heard anything about this project.
