Are there any secret messages on the record like on past Al records?

Seeing that release now is kind of disappointing that there's nothing special about it. But, I guess we at least have one.

The thing that's special about it is that it's a vinyl release of the album.

Nice review, Bill! Good to see you back. :whip:

Yes...that's why I said...at least we have one.

I was just hoping that we would get the regular etchings that we had on Al records, or special designs from the Alpocalypse theme...something. But, from the sounds of different interviews, Al had to pull his record company's leg to even get a vinyl version released. So, they probably weren't interested in having anything special done.

Yeah, I had a feeling it'd be a pretty bare-bones release. As much as I'd love a 180-gram red and orange marble colored record in a gatefold package, I knew nothing like that would happen. Much less taking the time to make an etching into the record.

Taylor Swift played Toronto the same night as Al was there for the DVD shoot. The next day on the train I saw some people with Taylor Swift shirts and thats what they said, I told them Al parodied a song of hers of course and they said they were gonna check it out, not a very awesome story but I thought the irony was great and I figured I'd share it anyways.
What a racket they're makin', Jack, they keep me up at night playin' their electric guitars!!
