My Chemical Romance has a new album coming out, I'd bet on that.
Ok, let's talk emo.
I totally agree that Al should hit this genre, and there are a lot of great targets, most of which are at least as culturally relevant as Taylor Hicks or Chamillionaire for that matter. MCR is alright but not quite popular enough to warrant a Weird Al parody, unless they have a more ubiquitous hit. I would prefer to see Say Anything, Dashboard Confessional, Taking Back Sunday, Brand New, or even Blink 182 if they release a new album soon. Let's see who's big in 6 months - it's all about timing.
ETA: It's debatable whether I'd prefer a direct parody of one of the above artists, or a style parody instead. Either would be an instant classic.

Al needs to stick it to Taylor Swift's "Love Story". HARD.

Lady Gaga should just be given "Polka Face" in the titular medley so that won't matter when the album comes out (since the polka medley tends to be a little dated...although I would've liked to have seen Al parody "Just Dance" or "LoveGame", those two songs are already a bit dated...there's a better chance that he might parody "Paparazzi" which may lead to an interesting video.)
There's always the possibility he could the polka and a parody, like he did with Eminem.

So with Al's frequent comical grammar lessons, how about a song about grammar/word usage?
You know, taking the CBNC line "Except she was always using the word infer when she obviously meant imply - And I know some guys would put up with that kind of thing, but frankly, I can't imagine why" to the extreme.
