He also parodied the Jungle Cruise ride in a couple of his KCPR skits.

http://www.imdb.com/news/ni58917253?ref_=hm_nw_tp1 So, shouldn't Skipper Dan be the theme song for this movie?

Oh man, I found some videos of this song on Youtube and got reminded of just how much I miss this song being performed live. :ttr: (Before Handy, we had Skipper Dan hips! #SkHIPperDan) This is still what I tell people is my favorite Weird Al song when I have to pick one. I just love how it sounds so happy but it's so sad and ugh that's my smurf. I miss the costume too but if Skipper Dan resurfaces in 2018 I would be okay with no costume because I just love this song soOOoOoOoOo much. Ohmygod I can't even make words happen. It's difficult to articulate my love of Skipper Dan. I just love it all so much.

(insert bootlegs here)

Juuuuust kidding! It's still a huge "IDK" on if bootlegs are allowed now or not but literally if you search on youtube for "skipper dan" you will find plenty on the first page alone, but I know how tempting it is to be lazy! 8)

This is definitely my favorite original off of Alpocalypse! So catchy, and I'm glad I got a chance to catch this live during the Alpocalypse Tour.

You know this song always brings me back to my childhood but not for the reasons you might think.

Because of the bare legs, Al tapping his foot while he sings is more visible than in most other songs, and it always reminds me of when I was a kid and I had a solo song in the school musical (yes I was a musical star when I was little, whatever happened to that kid...) and I was tapping my foot to the beat as I was singing and the other kids made fun of me for it. So I always feel vindicated when I see Al, a longtime professional live performer with decades of experience, doing exactly what they made fun of me for. :D

Is there any way to get a copy of this instrumental?
