Love the video. Very trippy.

Each of the three verses, plus the spoken part are examples of typical postings you might find on Craigslist.WAYFan @ June 15, 2009 02:39 pm wrote: I do so wish that someone would explain what each verse is about, cuz I'm having a hard time getting most of the jokes...
Check out this list of the "Best of Craigslist" for some examples. There are quite a few that closely resemble the second verse.

Love the song and video! I am not a huge Doors fan but am very familiar with them and Al really has topped himself this time! Great job to Al and the band. The quality of this original shows that Al's writing is better than ever and hopefully foreshadows what is yet to come. Dancers in the background would have been funny but the video is not bad at all!
Again, nice job to everyone involved. I like the song and the video a lot!

Hi there, short time forum-browser, first time poster...
Anyway, I just saw the new "Craigslist" vid on spinner...and I gotta say, neither the video or the song let me down...I LOVED IT!!!!! GREAT JOB, AL!!!
The second verse and the spoken word segment cracked me up...and the video looks great and had mesmerising effects for something that was shot in front of a green screen in a garage...
If they say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, then the lyrics were merely the icing on the cake to Al's musical pastiche composition
Can't wait to get it on my mp3 player tomorrow!
