And on the day of the second Presidential Debate, no less! (Well, maybe.) <_<

Perhaps he will release it at 6pm Pacific, to coincide with the debate itself!

Although I'm sure the song will be pretty generic. Knowing Al, I'm sure it doesn't take sides. It's probably about as "political" as Trigger Happy.

I was thinking the same thing. I think it'll poke fun at the situation of the economy, but I doubt he will make any direct comments about the Bush administration or about the Democrats in congress. And it probably won't mention Obama or McCain at all.

Honestly, I really don't care what it's about right now- only if it would actually be RELEASED.

I don't think the current economic crisis is a "political" issue. Both sides are responsible and both sides have to figure out how to fix it.

I'm eager to hear Al's take on it.
This means something. This is important.

I'm quite sure it will be a simple, comedic take. Probably something about the price of gas, hopefully the stock market crash considering this was recorded so recently. I don't know, given the source I'm not expecting anything too grand.

I was thinking he could do something about how some people continue to spend when they don't have money or something like that. "You still buy whatever you like" might be a possibility for a line.
Oh by the way, I've cracked the code.

There are no more WYL spoilers.

If any come in (As in a remastering or rerecording for the new album) come in, we'll re-open the topic.
