Oh, whoops. I misread the lyrics. Never mind. That is absolutely without any question 100% a parody of "Single Ladies" by Beyonce. Oh man, this is going to be a great album!!

Wikipedia is your friend. I very doubt much this has anything to do with his upcoming songs.

Oh you're right. Now I know EXACTLY what it is!!! It's a parody of "Born To Run" by Bruce Springsteen! I am totally definitely 100% sure of this. Wow this is great!!!

OK, I'll come clean. I think it's fairly obvious that Al was just making a pop culture reference to an old 50s jingle. Any speculation about what this means about his upcoming release is ridiculous. Al is just twittering. This is no different from anyone else tweeting. Just because we got one major announcement on there doesn't mean we are getting tons more.

Weird Al... making a pop culture reference... WOW!!! Unheard of!!!

I refuse to believe that Al could ever do such a thing!

As a boomer, I remember one on the Burma Shave jingles (from Mad Magazine) during the "cold war":

Fat Nikita's

Getting stronger

Can't afford

To wait much longer

Sherman Tanks

Guess you had to be there... :lookaround:

Al was taking a road trip as noted by his twitpics. He probably came across a few Burma-shave signs ad decided to post.
