Okay, but I don't think that was an intentional reference to Al's song. It's just a case of both things referencing Borgnine. It'd be different if the video made reference to the song by name in some way.

I don't know, I think this animator is a huge Al fan. I would lean on the side of intentional Al reference for nearly everything in this video.
I couldn't tell a dirt clod from a plate of caviar.

Oh, come on now... if the video referenced some huge celebrity who is popular right now, you could say it's just a coincidence. Ernest Borgnine, however, has to be an intentional reference. How many of Al's young fans would have ever heard of him except for Al's song? Oh man the Curb Your Althusiasm thing on the TV was AWESOME!! Im a huge LD and Curb fan so I laughed really hard at that. I wonder if he had to ask Larry if he could do that or if it doesn't really matter.
