Argghh. I thought you'd use the same messages for all the CDs... it certainly would be easier that way. My message did cover everybody anyway

If you want to re-record, you can. For now, I'm going to use that one on each CD. My guess is you won't be the only one doing generic messages.

Oh! I just remembered! My mp3 player has a microphone, i don't remember how good it sounds though.

They perform in it during the tour, right? I wouldn't want to leave them out just because they were directly involved in the recording. It's the idea of the song and the participation during the tour.

For names, I was going to use screennames, but if anyone wants their first name in there also, let me know when you give me the material. I'm hesitant to use last names- then I'd have to verify you're over 18 or have parent permission and all that fun stuff. So, to save my own butt and help protect everyone else, we'll stick to sn's and first names.

The tracks will look something like this:

1. Screenname (Firstname)

or

2. Screennameonly

The screennames will appear just like on WOWAY- caps sensitive.

I tried www.yousendit.com, but it didn't work for me. Perhaps because I use Netscape rather than Explorer for my browser?

Anyway, is there any other way to send you an audio file?

If we send a text-only message for the liner notes, should we just send it to you through PM here on WOWAY?

Ok, so I have one person who's turned in audio, and one who has turned in liner notes.... and then a few people said they're interested. Is that all we've got? You do realize that we only have a short time to do this, right? Please please please get your material in asap, or at least reply on here saying you're going to submit something. Thanks!
