The old 27 topic is so 27 minutes ago. Telling us that you listened to a song 27 times, or did 27 math problems for homework? OUT.

For 27-2.0, this topic is not to be used for the following things:Personal things - I got a 27% on my spelling quiz!Controlled variables - I counted to 27!Anything that, frankly, you know that nobody else will care about - 27! 27! 27! Woo!!
What should be in this topic?Al-related 27s (as long as they don't fall into one of the above groups)Coincidental 27s in films, TV shows, and books - this means "On SNL tonight, they had a sketch where they said they wanted to buy a 27-foot Christmas tree"; not "Homer said 'D'oh!' 27 times tonight!"...and that's it
Let's make the 27 topic something to be proud of! Bring it back to a time when it meant something. The old topic quickly became a shadow of its former self. Let's not let that happen again.

In conclusion? 27.

THANK YOU!!! :whoot:
To start the 27's...
On the Bowery Ballroom TMBG concert webcast (filmed on April 27th 2000), the file is named 27- this is NOT controlled, and is perfect!

I was there. 8)

(I apologize for not having a nice relevant 27 to add with this post, but hey, there was a WOWAY member present at the event in question, so I'm just adding a footnote to Mecca's offering 8) )

In an episode of The Simpsons, Lisa is having a Math fantasy, and one of the things in the backround is a 27. All of the math symbols spring to life and say something about themselves (often a play on words) indiviudaly. The 27 springs to life and shouts out "27!" You kind if have to see it to find it funny, I guess.

The ultimate answer of life, the universe, and everything is 27.

No, wait...

Just bolded some of Anth's quotes for emphasis.
Oh and here's a funny coincidence: the bolded list? Before the 3 27's, there are 27 words (counting the term "27" as a word).
EDIT: I'm going to an Art of the Beatles exhibit at this art museum today- I'm going to travel 27.6 miles (technically a 28, but cool nonetheless)

On my bicycletrip this morning , I saw a cow with an electronic device around his neck. That device , used for keeping record of this cow , had number 27 on it. He won't need a therapist. ;)
