I'm glad you and the family are fine, Jim. Good luck when you get home.

As awful as hurricanes are, people do get a few days notice to flee them if they want. I'm very glad you did :Y
This means something. This is important.

Jim!!! Glad you're alive and well. Merging with the Big Absence Topic. Thanks for checking in.

Edited to add: The old topic was pretty large, so I archived it. This is now the official Absence topic. Carry on.

I'm so glad you posted, Jim. I've been thinking about you. I hope the other WOWAYers who are from New Orleans are also safe. I'll keep a good thought for them, and for you and your family.
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

Dr. Dad/Jim, glad you and your family are safe! Prayers were sent out for everyone in the path of the hurricane and storm.

There have been 800 numbers posted on the local tv to help out the American Red Cross with the hurricane relief, but if there's anything more specific any of us can do to help, please let us know.

(Glad to read that the Florida folks are doing okay!)
