Well it's time to celebrate your birthday,
It happens every year.
We'll eat a lot of broccoli, and drink a lot of beer.
You should be good and happy that there's somethin' you can eat.
A million people every day are starvin' in the street.

The next challenge will be posted at 8pm est. While it is not 100% necessary to be here at that time, I would recommend it due to the fact that it could affect where you wind up at the beginning of the game and that two people (!) will get automatic immunity...including someone from the losing tribe (Yes, All Star watchers...there's actually tribes at the beginning of the game)

CHALLENGE 1: EVERY BIRTHDAY CARD I WRITE GETS STOLEN

Everyone in the world has a birthday! And that doesn't stop at friends and foes of Alfred Matthew Yankovic!

In fact, Al has created birthday cards to send to his celebrity friends in honor of their big day! The only problem is that the printing company screwed up real bad! The birthday cards contain the pictures of the celebrities, but not the names. And not only that, they were accidentally all sent out at the same time, instead of the actual birthdays.

What you need to do is identify the celebrity, and also the birthday (What? You don't know their birthday? Oh okay....I suppose there might be places online where you can look it up....I'm not sure, though

). and post it in this format.

EXAMPLE:
Nina Yankovic, Feb. 11, 2003

(Spelling will be excused this round, as long as I know who you're talking about)

SURVIVOR PICK 'EM GAME

That's right! But it's not your average Pick Em type situation where the captains alternate picks. Read on!

When I post the first birthday card, ANYONE CAN ANSWER! That player will become the captain of tribe A and win automatic immunity.

The second birthday, same thing! Both captains win automatic immunity!

When I post the third birthday, ONLY THE CAPTAINS MAY ANSWER. The first to answer will pick the next player for the tribe. YOU MAY NOT ANSWER A QUESTION UNLESS YOU ARE ON A TEAM. Anybody on the team may answer the questions, but only the captains can pick tribe members.

WE ARE NOT ALTERNATING PICKS! It's a race! The first tribe to 7 players will win immunity, and remaining players will be assigned to the losing tribe.and will head off to tribal council.

You don't have to pick members because they're on the board or not. You may decide you want to pick a member solely because you think they'll be an asset to your tribe in future challenges, or that you have an alliance with them.

If the captain leaves before the challenge is over, the captain must pick a second in command (The captain may also pm the second in command with some preferred trtibemates to pick. That second in command doesn't have to follow that list...of course, it could hurt the second in command later....just saying). Please note in the gameplay thread if you are leaving and who the second in command is. I WILL NOT BE ANSWERING PMs, so make note of this.

IMPORTANT: If the challenge ends up going past Midnight est, the challenge will be called and remaining players will be randomly assigned to tribes (Hey! I gotta sleep, you know) and the tribe with the most answers will win immunity just like above.

If this is a little too confusing, it'll become more clear as the challenge goes on.

I will be posting the first card in about 10 minutes. If you have questions, ask them now.
