YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES!

I went straight to the grammy website this morning, and, heart pumping, scrolled down the list of winners. And there it was! Best comedy- Poodle Hat by Weird Al Yankovic!!!!!!

Congrats, Al! I knew you would win!

And now it's an award winner and everything, we might get some Poodle Hat gold pretty soon!

DRAT AND BLAST!

If there was a red (green) carpet show, it wasn't shown here. I taped before and after the awards, and it was just the regular news shows

There was nothing at all in my area about Al winning.

Wonder if there's any way to catch a video on the internet?

The Red carpet show was on E!, sg. It is replaying right now. If you can get yourself to your vcr within the next 10 minutes, Al's interview with David Adelson is coming up. If not, they're replaying this show all day til 5 pm EST.

YES! You guys deserved it! I did nothing but listen to Poodle Hat all night long after I found out! The record sales will definatly go up and we will soon see a GOLD ALBUM FOR POODLE HAT! Congrats to Al and the band.

BTW: If anyone finds his acceptance speech can someone clue me in on it.

I don't think anyone knows anything about his speech. At least, no one here. It would be cool if someone had it recorded somewhere. I'd love to see/hear it!

Maybe Al will provide it at The Mothership. If he wrote it down. I can't imagine that he didn't, but who knows?

So did I! I can't believe they didn't show Al in the audience. They didn't even announce that he had won. I think AL deserves better recognition than that!

Yeah, that did bite. But at least he got that little interview with David Adelson. I taped that! Right now, they have a pre-show program on Mtv. I guess Kurt Loder was reading off pre-telecast winner's names. No Al yet, but, I'll let you know.
