Yeah. If you want to be a mod, the best way to hope for that position is to not ask for it.

For me, I've never been a mod in my entire life. So, it depends on your luck too.

I don't know all of WHiZZi's criteria, but one is whether we need a mod or not. Dave and I were invited at the same time, WHiZZi was too busy, and InSoft (did anyone ever see him online?) was never here, and Jon was busy too.

Anth came in as a mod because we had gotten bigger and Dave and I weren't always online. The reason Anth was picked is because he was already doing a lot of stuff to help us out, compiling lists/links etc and he was here a lot. He seemed responsible and I suggested him to WHiZZi and Dave agreed. He's done a great job, but don't let that influence you at voting time for Best Mod. :P

Dave became Admin because we needed greater than mod power on the board more often. There are some things that Mods can't do (IP bans, creating new forums, changing member names) and WHiZZi and Jon just aren't online as often as we sometimes need.

Dingo and CatraDthem are "specialty" mods. Dingo maintains the spoiler board when it's active, and CD maintains the Tourography and Rock Hall stuff.

Ryan's just in a class by himself.

Oh yeah, that Al guy can wield Admin power if he wants to.

At the moment, I don't think we need anyone else, but of course that's WHiZZi's decision to make.

You should be able to post topics and reply to topics.

You have 23 posts, you only needed 5 to post a topic.

I feel so sorry for everybody who missed our in-depth, lengthy discussion of the pros and cons, the subtleties and meta-messages of calling a group of highly-talented, fully-adult men 'boys." :P

What it came down to is, the acronym also works for The Best In The Business, so we kept it. Because they are. :)
"Weird Al" has a charisma that's all his own. The awkward, the misshapen, the socially inept flock to his banner.

Greetings,
I can understand the "no bootlegs, no posting downloads or links" policy. But I am hosting "You're Pitiful" on my website, which is DIRECTLY linked from Weird Al's site. If it or any other future songs I might be hosting completely and honorably through Al/Bermuda are mentioned on here, is it OK to post that link to a complete song? It's not like Al isn't giving it away anyway.
