this topic is helpful, thanks everyone! When I was reading different posts, I was happy to figure out TBITB after about 10 seconds  but Mecca and IIRC did confuse me (I guess if i chatted more i would have known IIRC).

here's a tip..if you have no idea what one means...I'd bet it's a song title...so just stick titles in there...this is what I do!

I highly doubt if it'll ever get used but.. its worth a shot:

ROTFLSHTIHRRICCOOMN!

or...

Rolling on the floor laughing so hard that I have rocky road ice cream coming out of my nose!

Oh, and lest you be tempted to call Bermuda "Bermie", think again. He doesn't like it. I have seen him referred to as "Berm" but not in places where he is likely to see it. :lookround:

And there are some terms of endearment we use for Al:
The Great Weird One
Our Boy
His Royal Weirdness

Any others?

We can call Al "Al" but don't just call him "Weird." We're not on a first adjective basis We're not. We're really really not.

And it's not an acronym, but let's not forget that one of the reasons for our existence as fans is to help supply the Yankovic household with broccoli .

well, indirectly. We don't actually bring broccoli to concerts or anything.

Or do we? :lookround:

Here is one that OE used today. I hadn't seen it before. It took me a while to figure it out, but I did it all by myself! :)

Really...who came up with that one?

This is OT, but you know what bugs me? When people say "LOL" instead of laughing. That is so stupid!

Well, I use LOL all the time! And it means "laughing out loud", not just "laughing". I'm such a horrible typist to begin with, anything that makes my job easier is welcome. Don't diss people just because they like acronyms.
