What games have you tried to play? I don't see a reason why you shouldn't be able to play.

That shouldn't be. You can't start a new topic until you have 10 posts. But you should always be able to participate in existing threads.

Had you posted in any other threads within 30 seconds of trying to post in those? Because flood control prohibits that. Otherwise, yeah, that is weird.

Well, that sounded like a plausible reason, but no, it still wouldn't let me several minutes later. The message I got was 'sorry, an error occurred... you do not have permission to reply to that topic'

Well, you'll have ten posts if you contribute some discussion to a one or two topics. Then, maybe things will change. I really don't understand this, although it's been quite some time since I was a newbie here.
