Also, weren't style parodies supposed to be what the Comedy Songs topic was meant to contain in the first place?

I'm still in the progress of one. It's a pastiche of CAKE (you know, the band CBNC was a pastiche of) called "TV and Movies." I'll let you all know when it's done.
Al's working on Album #14 RIGHT NOW (kinda)!!!!

I'm thinking of making some pastiches myself... remakes of Al's songs, mostly, but possibly a few of my own. I'd love to do a Janis Joplin style cover of "Frank's 2000" TV" and "Why Does This Always Happen To Me", a Macy Gray style cover of "Waffle King", Missy Elliott style "Slime Creatures From Outer Space"

Years ago I did an original song called "The Cute Guy" which was supposed to be Luscious Jackson style but I didn't really have good enough instruments for it and it was mostly a couple bass synth samples and some drums, and me singing and rapping rather horribly. Thinking of redoing it though.
