Thanks to everybody who's been donating! I feel like most of the forum isn't getting to see this thread for some reason, I would've figured a new tribute album would've had at least 20 replies by now. Let's increase awareness of the tribute, if we can. Again, thanks for your support people who did reply.

Re: "Twenty Six and a Half" - A new Weird Al tribute album
We've gotten a few more submissions for the project since the announcement. Once we have enough I'll post some clips so people can hear the high quality glory that is the songs on this album. We've gotten a drastic drop in donations, c'mon people, this is the crowd that should be wildly enthusiastic about this sort of thing.
Also, if you can't afford to donate, spreading awareness of the project to your Al fan friends, or maybe even a random stranger on the street who looks like he might be a fan would also be much appreciated. The URL again is http://www.nuclearbubblewrap.com/weirdaltribute

Donation sent. I loved the tribute albums so far, and this one has such a great bunch of very talented artists, it should be totally awesome. I'm really looking forward to hearing it.
And I want to thank you for thinking of sharing proceeds with the Weird Al Star Fund. That is very kind and generous of you and all the artists involved.

Thanks for the donation, sir. Also, your name is David Rossi, like the character in Criminal Minds... awesome.
About the Star Fund, they just sent out there application for this year. So, if it miraculously works out and he's in, we'll have to find another worthy Al related cause to donate 40% of the profits to.
To repeat what Jace said, we are also looking for a person to make some artwork for the entire spread of the album. If you could make a sketch of your idea and send it to [email protected] or [email protected] that would be much appreciated.

I had the name first!
Unfortunately, Al didn't make it as part of this year's selection, and Weird Al Star Fund is still accepting donations in any case, so any amount you raise, is helpful and very appreciated!

Oh, well then we most certainly will continue in our plans to donate to them.

Why isn't there a Tony Goldmark song on it?
