I'm with Ryan on this one. Riffing a comedy is stupid. And am I the only one who rents movies on Netflix for the sole purpose of doing the Rifftrax thing with them? I don't just Rifftrax movies I already own. Netflix is very reasonably priced.

Any stupider than riffing a movie specifically for an online community, even though hardly anyone in that community has even SEEN, let alone bought on video?

Yes. I already pointed out that it's very reasonable to rent dvds. You don't have to own the movie or even be familiar with it to enjoy Rifftrax. MST3K riffed movies that were unfamiliar and unavailable to many people, and yet, the finished product was hilarious. With Rifftrax, you have the bonus ability to be able to familiarize yourself with a movie by watching the dvd without the Rifftrax commentary if you think you might miss too much during the riffing.

Jeremy, you already harped enough about the choice of the movie back in that other thread, so I don't get why you have to continue with this. I wish you'd let it go.

Can't the same be said for Glitter? Who here owns a copy of Troll 2? The Star Wars Holiday Special, anyone?
