NEW PIECE! OMG, SERIOUS PICTURE.

And, my first completely digitally made Weird Al Piece...

For the Al-Star fund

I actually did this ALL in photoshop instead of using sharpies and paper. Why? Because I can't freehand friggin stars for the LIFE of me.

I didn't really send this to the Al-star fund or anything, but when I was jotting down ideas for Weird Al book part II, this image popped into my head. Had to do it. *laughs*

And I've already got images for Weird Al part III in my brain... lord, I'll never stop drawing this man.

that's really, really cool!

Why didn't you just draw out everything else and stick the star in later?
That's what I do when there's something I just can't do.. writing for example.
My handwriting is terrible, even I can't read it.

Because I thought of that after I'd sketched everything out. HAHAHA

Nah, it's because I wanted it to tie in together nicely, and I'm prone to perspective or angle problems when I have to draw one part first and the other part next. It's one reason why I hate doing commissions with huge amounts of people; on person is always off perspective of another. I just thought it'd be easier this way.

TAKES SO MUCH LONGER... but easier.

Hey, with me, you never know! I have raging problems with obsessions and my ADD hardly ever allows me to stay fixated for too long.

Luckily (?) though, Al has been the exception. *laughs*

Dude! I went through an Invader Zim style stage a while back too, when I was 12. God, I ended up with the weirdest pictures.

You should so draw a Jhonen-style Al. Seriously. Do it.

I don't remember how old I was when Zim first aired... I think I was either 10 or 11, but all I remember is that I had JUST moved from Japan and my parents wouldn't let me stay up with the TV on past 8 PM. Hahahaha But it was one of my huge loves for a while.

YES. Draw Al as GIR. The craziness is fitting.
