Besides, a friend of my parents lives there, I could stay with him

How about Montreal? That way more French Canadians can think he is insane!
Pretty Much wherever it is I can't go so I can't really have a say there.
LA may be less suspicious, but Oh i dunno

Well let's just remember that this doesn't have to be a surprise party. We could have someone talk to Al and Suzanne about this. But yes, Patti, I think we should do a poll on where we think it should be, before we do anything else.

I think LA is the only option, logically. They have a young school age child to consider.
