Sure There Are Mix Albums But Mix Songs?!

Here you can show your graphics skills or any program made of Weird Al.

Hey once back when I was really bored and all of my music files were WAVs I used to use a WAV editor program to cut and paste lines from Weird Al songs to make my own (sloppy but funny) mix songs. Here's my favorite as an example:

It's bar mitzva at ground zero
There's balogna up my nose
So I ran out onto the street with balogna up my nose
Runnin' runnin' runnin' like a constipated garage band from Seattle
And as luck would have it, that's exactally when I met the girl of my dreams
Her name was Wilma
She was a coligraphy enthusiast with a slight overbite and hair the color of la-la-la-la-lasagna
I'll never forget the very first thing she ever said to me, she said
"Hey, you've got bologna up your nose."

I used clips of Christmas at Ground Zero, Pretty Fly (For a Rabbi), My Balogna, Germs, Albuquerque, Smells Like Nirvana, Bedrock Anthem, and Lasagna. I've done over 100 of these songs.

Althouth the song sounds pretty crappy it's still really funny...to me at least...has anyone else done anything like this? Just curious.

No I've never done that before. Sounds like you could make a studio medley of Al's songs and make them sound close to his concert medleys.

Well, it's more than a medley, it's like an entirley different song but, yes, if I tried hard enough I could get it to sound pretty professional.

Yes, I know that it's more than a medley, but have you ever thought about mixing a medley?

Actually I made a really cool medley of all of Al's choruses. It's like 15 minutes long! Again, it isn't professional and it was made a long time ago so I could've done a lot better now but it's still nice to hear.

I did that once. It was like a half-hour long and went all the way through to BHD. But I never really listened to it and it was pretty crappily edited so I didn't do it again.

What's really hard when doing that is the polka medleys, chosing which part to put into the medley. Usually I just chose the part I like best like Uncle Tom's Cabin I think it's called on Polka Your Eyes Out or The Real Slim Shady on Angry White Boy Polka. It's all good.
