i agree scotti. people can have an argument (or in a parental perspecive a "dissuction") and keep it clean at the same time. but the title... "Is Al Out Of Character" or maybe OOC.

i agree with MJ about people not going insane about OOC-ness

but i think really u are over reacting.

can i have a link to the fanfic in question??

Good idea, cupcake. I will change the title. The current one is a tad abrasive. And I tweaked the direction of the topic a little.

Rather than just looking to be insulted, perhaps we could discuss any fanfic where Al or TBITB seem OOC, and why they seem that way to you. If it's because you are insulted, or offended, that's ok. But let's keep the tone friendly and civil.

No problem. Never bothered me (even though I share Al's near-obsession with proper grammar and spelling)(watch either BTM or Driven-I forget which one-for the line from Bermuda that explains that).

I apologize too.

I haven't read that many Al fanfics anyway...

Fanfiction.net used to have a section of music fanfics, but they took it down because of potential problems. I don't remember if they had any Al ones, though.

I think my story that was at ff.n (until they removed stories containing celeberties), WAYGVA, was probably the only story based with Al as a main character... and didn't degrade his intelligence (at least I hope I didn't). For some people, silly and funny translate into stupidity. However, it can be quite the opposite.

It was a tiny bit OOC, but I enjoyed it. Hope I can read it again sometime. And I hate DBZ, too!
