Al Related Phenomena

Post by mewrio »

Here we can create a list of all the Al related phenomena we have experienced. SD, perhaps you can enlighten us into the Al Induced Haze?

Cause:

Listening to music with headphones in car, possibly only with portable CD players.

Effects:

Freqency loss:Certain freqencies in music are lost, causing very unusual sounding music. For example, in AWBP, during "Last Nite", you cannot hear the clicking.

Frequency Moving:The pitch seems higher than it actually is. For example, in Fat, the chorus changes from minor to major, resulting in a terrible sound.

Cure:

Use better headphones, or avoid using headphones at all.

Notes:

Very little is known about this condition. It is unknown whether this is cause by Al.

You need better earphones, Mewrio. I listen to Al on headphones all the time, and it improves the quality of the music.

Al-induced haze: A condition that WAY fans experience as a result of concert exposure. It is intensified and magnified by being in close proximity to "Weird Al" Yankovic. If you get to actually touch him, you will never completely recover.

Its symptoms include intense happiness which seems to crowd out any concrete details of the concert itself. Uncontrollable smiling, sometimes accompanied by giggles, can be expected.

There is no cure, the only known treatment is more concert exposure.

Edited for clarity.

Another Al-related phenomenon that I am a firm believer in is "Al Karma"

Good Al Karma happens when you do something nice for another Al fan, and then later a good Al-related thing happens to you with no apparent relationship to your first act of kindness.

And then there's Bad Al Karma which works in the opposite way. It's a good thing to avoid.

MusthaveeveryonelistentoALitis is a disease where the only cure is going up to people in a CD store and recommending they buy ALbums.

The symptons include paying particular attention to customers having a hard time deciding on what CDs to buy and that rash. ;)
I'm ranking every Beatles song on my new pop culture blog. Check it out!

What does this rash look like? :nervous:

It's not in the shape of a giant spatula, is it? Because if it is, well,...I have a feeling it may not go away...
