To be honest, I don't remember where I got the name Wanda from.

Well, in "Alfred Gump: Special Edition" you can change it to Zelda.

Okay, I went and checked the book, Forrest Gump. In the original story, Forrest meets an ape by the name of Sue while at Nasa and the two of them become part of a space shuttle launch. They stay together for much of the book afterwards. This part of the story, along with his adventures in Hollywood, as a "rassler," an a bunch of other things were sadly cut from the movie version. Sue was the inspiration for the Wanda "character." Plus, I needed to do something with "Let Me Be Your Hog." :biggrin:



I still don't know why I chose "Wanda" though.



Haha. Zelda is a good idea, Dave! Maybe I'll use that name for a character in chapter 15! Do me a favor and remind me in 4 or 5 years or whenever the next album comes around.

Very nice, Bruce, very nice! I also like the way you did stuff that wasn't important until way later in the story. So it's not finished, huh? Hmm. Now I have even more reason to be excited when the next album is announced!

You'll have to wait quite a while for the next chapter though, seeing as how I coordinate my story with Al's songs and albums. As soon as the next album comes out (2005? 2006? 2007? 2008? Who knows!) I'll write the next chapter! Sorry!



BTW, here's a bit of trivia that you probably don't care about but I'll tell ya anyway: Originally, when I wrote the story, since the mime wasn't given a name in the song, I named her Susan. When I retyped it to post it here, I changed her name to Meagan because Susan is too close to Suzanne.

All the more reason to wait for the next ALbum. (Like I needed one?)

You could write an ending for this one and end it then write a sequel for the next 12 albums.(Just an idea.)oh and this is one of the greatest novels of all time.If I ever make it in the film industry this movie needs to be made and you should write the screenplay.GREAT JOB!!
