Weird Al Fan Zine!

Hey! Me and a friend of mine (betelgeuse-1988 on tumblr) are working on organizing a Weird Al fanzine! The zine will be a compilation of fanwork submitted by the community (fanart, writing, etc) and will likely be released as a digital zine. Right now we're still in the early stages of planning, so we're just looking around to see if anyone is interested! If you would be interested in submitting fan content for this zine, or would just like to see a zine like this happen, please fill out the quick and easy interest form (linked below). I'd appreciate it a lot!

Applications for Don't Download This Zine, a collaborative "Weird Al" fanzine are open! If you'd like to submit fanwork to be featured in the zine, fill out This Form (https://forms.gle/oAKScmbmvJij6p8cA)! If you'd just like to "pre-order" the zine to have a copy e-mailed to you when it's finished, fill out This Form (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIp ... sp=sf_link)!

The guidelines for submissions are as follows:

Must be related to Weird Al! 

No previous experience required

Keep it PG, violence is fine as long as it's slapstick! Think: would I want Al himself to see this?

No RPF (real person fanfiction)

We recommend that written submissions should be less than 1500 words, but this is flexible. Contact us if you have any questions about a longer submission!

We'd prefer you submit images as JPEGs and text as Word documents or PDFs

Submissions are limited to one per category per person!

Don't release your submission anywhere before the Zine itself is released

We have the right to refuse any submission that we deem to be inappropriate.

After you fill out your application and finish your piece, please send it to [email protected]! The deadline to do this is Febuary 28!
