Reposting this, since it got eated in the WOWAY Crash of 2016:
(I don't remember everything I said, so if you have any questions, please ask!)

"The concert was unbelievably amazing and surpassed my wildest dreams. I’ve been standing in line with a large group of Al’s fans waiting by the bus for a chance to talk to him after the show. We tell each other our favorite memories and show our neighbors and friends the t-shirt or album we’ve got for Al to sign. Everyone is buzzing and giddy! This is so exciting!! I’m going to tell Al what a wonderful influence he has been and how I made so many new friends because of him. Something is happening now! We’re forming a line! I’m getting closer to Al now and the security guards are rushing people through the line. We’re told that we have to show the one thing we want Al to sign, and we can’t get any pictures. This suddenly feels more disappointing than it should, but it’s okay because I get to see and talk to Al! Okay, almost my turn. Deep breath. My hands are shaking as I give Al my Mandatory Fun CD to sign. Oh, no! My mind is a blank! What do I say to Al?! “Great show,” I mumble as he smiles and hands back the CD. Now I get rushed away by the burly dude who just wants this to be over so he can get home to his bed. Nooooo!! I had so much to say!! Why can’t I just have five coherent minutes to tell Al everything I need to tell him?!"

Al affects his fans’ lives in many different ways. He helps people tackle their anxiety and depression, brings people together who might not have otherwise known each other (and/or created new people in the process!), and influences people to better their lives or even follow in his footsteps. More importantly, he teaches us that you can be weird and still popular, and that you can always just be yourself. A lot of people would like to let Al know how they feel and exactly how he has impacted their lives, but might never get the chance to tell him in person.

If you were unable to obtain a Czar ticket for this tour (or even any tickets), or even if you’re just afraid you won’t have the time or ability to tell Al everything you’ve ever wanted to tell him, this is your chance! Think of all the good times and how he changed your life and about all the laughs and smiles he brought you.

Throughout the coming month, I will be collecting video testimonials from you, the fans! Record a little segment to explain how Al has influenced your life.

For your testimonial, choose one or more of the following:
*Tell us when and how you were first introduced to Al
*Talk about the ways in which he has impacted your life
*Tell Al something you’ve always wanted to share with him
*Tell a true story that involves Al, one of his concerts, or how you’ve established a relationship with another Al fan
*Show and tell about something related to Al and why it is important to you, such as photos, shrines, memorabilia, people in your life, etc.

When we see you and hear your story, we get to know you and become better friends. So, the preferred recorded video style is to see you talking about your memories in a vlog format. However, if you are unable to create that kind of video, there are other options. Please take a look at the videos at these links to get ideas of video styles you might like.

Recording 2 example (microphone, audacity, audio separated from video)

Recording 3 example (slideshow, pictures, text)

IMPORTANT
*Please avoid using music.
*Do not swear in the video! Like Al’s music, we’d like to keep it family friendly
*Keep in mind that this video will be uploaded online, so do not release any personal information about yourself, like where you live or phone numbers

If you want me to help you out with any editing aspects of your video, please let me know when you send in your footage and give me as much lead time and specific instructions as possible.

Your video should be about a minute long if you plan on just talking. If you plan on showing other people or things (babies, Weird Al shrines, etc.) you have up to 5 minutes. Don’t feel like you’ll be judged, because it’s not going to happen. Let’s get as many videos as we can -- all participants are welcome! I plan to edit this in a documentary style, so please send as much material as possible such as fan art, video clips, pictures, poetry, covers of songs or original songs dedicated to Al, etc.

Deadline - April 16th midnight Mountain Time April 23rd midnight Mountain Time - added more time due to the crash.

Send your video in MP4 format or JPEG for photos to me at [email protected] in a zipped file. If your file is too large, send me an email with a link to a Dropbox, Box, or Google Drive file.

I’m looking forward to seeing your videos and creating something special we can all share together. :)

Hmm, maybe try sending me that? Unless you can export it as something else like a wav?
