What a shitty thing to say!
Well yeah, OUT of context...

Alicia: The Handy outfit might be easy to do.

Thanks for the suggestions, everyone! I don't know why I would want to do an *easy* cosplay, though. Where's the fun in that??
After a lot of thinking, I've settled on the DTBS outfit for at least one show. I also came up with a Stanley Spadowski costume, but I'd like to find a mop that's collapsible. Maybe a Swiffer.
Enchanted Mesa is about two hours away from Albuquerque, so we might drive over there one day to see if they have shirts.
I think doing Like a Surgeon would also be fun (and comfortable!), so I'm gonna try to find matching scrubs next time I'm at Savers.
I could bring back Skipper Dan, because *somebody* should
(wink wink nudge nudge)
And maybe I could come up with some crazy thing for Albuquerque, since, you know.
I'd still love to do Smells Like Nirvana, but perhaps I'll try for the cheerleader rather than Kurt.
Anyone cosplaying as Yoda??

EASY can be a relative term, especially if you bring your own twist to it! haha
Devo is awesome, so I'm in agreement on that. I would do Like A Surgeon myself, but I need scrubs.

Regarding Albuquerque, I've heavily considered snagging some donut shop uniform pieces and bringing a box of Starving Crazed Weasels with coupons to the Sizzler. I'll probably never get around to it so the idea is out there for others who want to try.

Sooooo in a flurry of impulse and inspiration, I bought a cheap women's army officer costume the other day. But the fit left a lot to be desired:
Many hours at my sewing machine later, it's much more flattering:
The skirt still needs a good pressing, though.
I'm in the process of procuring and/or crafting the rest of the accoutrements from the Mandatory Fun uniform. Can NOT wait to wear the finished product to my concert in August!

So last week, I decided to go as a Nirvana cheerleader to the concert this Saturday, so I ordered the outfit and pom poms. I went with the Amazon Prime options so I knew they would get here on time for the show. Here's the pom poms that showed up:
I have
five extra pairs of pom poms, so if anyone else wants to be a Nirvana cheerleader, let me know. You can give me five bucks or something and I'll ship some pom poms out to you.
POM POMS!

Well, since I got a Mandatory Czar package for the early 8/23 4pm show, I guess I won'the be wearing my "tacky" outfit for "no one" after all! Al will get to see it at the meet and greet and that's all that really matters.
