So we have two great songs from Al about two distinct, but similar popular websites. Which of the two do you think is the most well-written? Let's compare them mainly by their lyrical content, since one's a parody and one's a style parody. In which song did Al do a better job of capturing the essence of the website in question?

My vote is for "eBay", actually. I love the new song, but I think "eBay" covered a wider variety of bizarre things that you can find at the website.

eBay, hands down. Craigslist is funny, but definitely isn't Al's best, while eBay is one of (if not my top) favorite of Al's songs.

Craigslist might grow on me some more as time goes on, but I highly doubt this will change.

eBay. I liked the song from when I saw the video, but I think it a chance to grow on me.

Craigslist OBVIOUSLY as Ebay is a parody of someone elses song. Youre trying to compare elephants and bananas here,
I like Al.. not the Backstreet Boys, so Al's song wins everytime in a straight comparison

Well, first of all I think it's not always true that an original is automatically better than a parody. Compare "Waffle King" to "White & Nerdy", for example.

Also, I was comparing the lyrical content of the songs rather than the music. "Craigslist" is one of the many Al originals in which the music is superior to the lyrics anyway. But lyrically, "eBay" beats "Craigslist" hands down.

I voted for Craigslist...if only because Al can make the lyrics as silly and ridiculous as he wants for an original as opposed to parodies where he's strictly confined to what fits rigidly to the tune of someone elses' composition...but I guess we'll have to wait and see until tomorrow...the videos' only been out for less than a full day, so we'll need to give this one time to grow on everybody...I predict the more recent of the two web based songs will win in a landslide...

Last night was the first time I've been to Craigslist. The funny thing is, I went to Al's website and it was in the style of Craigslist. I was thinking, "what the heck happened to Al's site?" Then my wife said, "He made his site look like Craigslist. So then I went and visited Craigslist for the first time. I never had occasion to before, though I've heard plenty about it.

I am much more familiar with Ebay and have bought and sold several things on there. Therefore, I prefer Ebay more.
