Honestly, the last two days have been the most I've enjoyed spending time on WOWAY in a long time. I'd forgotten how much fun this game is, and I think Mystik's right that it's already boosted the activity levels.the Dingo wrote:The return of Survivor has made me nostalgic for the days of designing challenges and coming up with twists during the season I hosted.
I'll admit, when we were doing all the planning and casting, I was really hoping for a cast of mostly (if not all) new players. But now that we've played out the first challenge, I'm glad it turned out this way basically because it guarantees that people are gonna participate. A lot of the previous seasons (especially the later ones) had low activity levels. What do we think about this "reboot" format so far, where anybody is eligible to play regardless of if they played before?
I mean, we don't want to have the exact same group playing every single time but I think we can kind of leave it up to individual hosts what their casting policy should be.
Alprentice was pretty fun--I think Elvis was supposed to host a second season but it never materialized. I'm still waiting for someone to come up with a viable way of doing an Al-flavored Amazing Race.
