5 minutes?! Man, now they'll cut out all the good stuff for sure...Squirrelygirl @ Feb 7 2004, 01:17 AM wrote:but after the Super Bowl maybe they'll put like a 10 second delay
Can you believe it? They're going to do a 5 minute delay on both audio &
video!
That makes me think it's a little more likely they won't show the comedy award, if
it causes them to cut out 5 minutes of the show. Drat! I sure hope they don't cut it out!

Yes ther will be a 8 second delay. the Ceremony is Live on the East Coast (tape delay on the west) this Sunday. If you don't want to watch you can keep track of all the winners at grammy.com. You can also listen on the radio at west wood one. details are also at Grammy .com.iisryan27 @ Feb 6 2004, 11:35 PM wrote: I think it's live...but after the Super Bowl maybe they'll put like a 10 second delay.

The show will still be the same lenght as before, except what you see on your TV would have happened 5 mins earlier in the ceramony. This is so they can edit anything the performers may do (due to the Superbowl scandal). I don't know if they normaly broadcast the comedy award or not, but this new delay should not effect the content of what makes it into the broadcasted show.Squirrelygirl @ Feb 6 2004, 07:17 PM wrote:but after the Super Bowl maybe they'll put like a 10 second delay
