I had an idea for a fun game, called "Albuquerque: The Sequel"

Like the original Albuquerque, it would become totally weird after some time.

The concept is simple: I write about five lines on the reply message box, and that`s the beginning of the game. The next one adds five more lines, and no matter what it is, we go on. However, one simple rule is that one part of the story must last at least three posts by different members.

Like, if the Al and Zelda story had lasted five lines, it would not be considered one of the most popular. The one where Al gets a job at the Sizzler is too short to really remember it though.

Just let me recall the parts on the original Albuqueruqe:
-Youth and Sauerkraut
-The Contest
-On the Plane
-Albuquerque Holiday Inn
-Hey! My snorkle!
-Donuts, hmmm...
-Waah, Weasels!
-Zelda and Al
-Sizzler
-Marty the Torso Boy
-Want a Bite?
-Morale of the story
-Final Chorus

I`ll put more details if there has been nothing like this yet.

It sounds like something that may have been attempted before but I can't find anything. I like the idea--I'm not sure how long it'll sustain itself but it might be fun.

There was something like this for "Trapped in the Drive Thru" in the Fan Creativity section. It only lasted like three or four "chapters".

Like some kind of fanfiction, is that it?

I don`t want to be seen like a Mr. knowitall, since I`m not, but the wikipedia article says that the plot of Albuquerque constantly changes, and that`s what would make this game interesting. We wouldn`t have to think about what had happened before (I bet I`m not the only one to have noticed the character goes in his car to buy donuts even though he has none) and just write whatever would make the story a whole lot weirder, until the conclusion which brings to the beginning (just like the oh-so-famous I HATE SAUERKRAUT).

Anyway, I`d like to have more opinions on this. Trapped in the Drive-Thru isn`t like Albuquerque at all: the characters make sense, the story too, and it`s sung. Albuquerque is twelve minutes of complete craziness like we thought we could only read in fanfictions.

Yeah, fanfics would be cool. Maybe a Batman/Star Wars/Fatman crossover! I'm such a nerd!

I'm pretty sure fanfiction.net has a music section. If not, I know there's a Misc one.

It doesn't have a music one. Not sure what's in the misc; I tend to stay away from lots of things on that site... :?

I was wondering if someone could make like a "Single Survivor"...where all the singles from every album will compete in a survivor poll like we do now?

Yes, I'm sure someone could.
