Which do you prefer? When the cover of an album parodies the original artist of the lead single, or when it features completely original designs?
Personally I like the parody covers better. There's something really cool about seeing Nevermind and OTDE next to each other, or seeing Michael Jackson's Bad from far away only to realize upon closer inspection that it is Even Worse. Remember that little sticker on Alapalooza that read "This is not the Jurassic Park soundtrack album?" That had me ROTFLMAO and it wasn't even meant as a joke. Even the BHD cover, which doesn't parody Coolio's cover, but his look is better than some of the original designs.
Don't get me wrong though. I like the original covers just fine, especially GH1, but I like the parodies better.
