World of Weird Al Yankovic

Here is something that I'm currently working on for these forums here. I'm just wonderin if you guys would want to use it. I'm thinkin about a hawaiian shirt background for the posts and making things look a little more Al-ish.

No, please. It looks cool, but all the extra color & graphics really slow down reading for those of us on dial-up modems.

If you took any of those images from weirdal.com, you'd have to clear them with Bermuda first. At the very least, you'd need to get permission from Luke Ski to use that drawing of his.



I kind of like the site how it is now, so I'm gonna vote no. And I'm gonna move this over to the "Polls" forum while you solicit comments. Once you've gotten comments and you want to propose your design to Whizzi, we can move it back to the "Forum ideas" forum.

Wow, looks cool. You could always keep the current fast loading style as an option. Users can change it from the profile settings.

I think that the current logo (which I really like, BTW) should be kept, and the colors of the current layout should be changed to go with it.



I have to agree with OE, download times should be taken into consideration. But I like the idea of having more than one option.



I would like to see a few more emoticons available... NOT animated emoticons.

First, I think I like the original better. Besides, even with a cable modem that's kinda slow. And we never boasted to have salt AND pepper shakers.



P.S. Giving the posts a hawaian shirt backround would make them hard to read, and distracting.

i think the luke ski drawing is out of place, the font used in the "new topic" etc.. is too cheesy, and the quote should be randomized so its different every time.

do those things and i'd be in favor of it

If you like, I can offer you a temporary forum which I will make exact the same as this one except there are no users or posts. You can be administrator of that forum so you are able to create and change your own style. If the style is done, I can put it on WOWAY.

That's possible if you like. I already did some hackings on this forum and this is rather easy to do. I only need to copy/paste all lyrics from Weirdal.com, put it in a database and show it random
