Because of this poll, I listened to "Hamsters" again for the first time in a LONG time. I've never found it very funny. What jokes there are (and there aren't many) fall flat and honestly, it just feels like it's trying too hard. Musically, it's fun, but it just doesn't do it for me. Meanwhile, I like the "Slime Creatures" narrator's Just-Mildly-Annoyed attitude toward a devastating alien invasion. (And, seriously, "I just shampooed the rug!" is a great punchline.)
