Which date in July (or August) will Album 14 be released?

The release date for Alpocalypse (6/21/2011) was announced on April 21, 2011.

The release date for Straight Outta Lynnwood (9/26/2006) was announced on July 19, 2006 (according to web.archive.org)

The ORIGINAL release date for SOL (6/27/2006) was apparently first teased on April 7, 2006 (according to Ask Al at weirdal.com)

The release date for Poodle Hat (5/20/2003) was announced close to March 30, 2003 (also according to web.archive.org)

That's as far back as I can remember or can access.

For Poodle Hat a splash page saying 5-20 showed up on wa.com around March 20. Bermuda responded to someone saying that it couldnt be an album since they only had it half done and hadnt even gone back in the studio yet. Of course ue left out the fact they were going back in on March 21. Al did 6 songs in literally 27 days.

I'll say July 29 as well. The end of the month seems to be routine for album releases.

Seems like approximately 2 months between announcement and release. I optimistically voted for July 15, but maybe everyone's August guesses are more likely. Then again, Al seems a bit more hell-bent on getting this album out ASAP, so he may make sure it drops at the earliest possible date.

One thing to consider--although I don't really know where we'd be able to figure out which dates are options or not--remember that Volcano apparently only releases things every two weeks, so certain dates can be ruled out. Otherwise, Poodle Hat could have been released on May 27.
