We Al Gals (I speak on behalf of this al gal...) may simply be attracted to Al the man not Al's body...I think that's what Manda was getting at...

I dont really get this poll (dont be offended by that) so guys are supposed vote if Al is a turn off for girls. I guess. I think I get it now.

How do guys know whats a turn off for girls? Because not all girls are the same.

I am pretty sure that this poll is addressing guys as to whether or not being a fan of Weird Al is a turn-off for potential girlfriends. Maybe the author of this topic should come back and explain it better.

Al is a very good looking man, and he has a very unique sense of style. But that is not why I love him, and that is not what Al wants us to love him for. I am forever a fan of all of Al's songs and his amazing energetic personality. His appearence is just one more component in the Al lovin' community. Not what it is based on. Sure, we ('we' being the gals) all like to drool over him, but we would not even think of doing such a thing were we not already infatuated with his personality. That probably does not answer your question, but I am writing it anyway just for the heck of it.

I agree. Now I dont see why being a fan of someone would turn off someone in less your stocking them. So any girlfriend or boyfriend shouldent really care what you listen to. Thats a stupid reason not to like someone.

Very true, Manda. I'm married to a non-Al fan, but he still loves me. I do put up with some dissing of Al know and then *grrr*, but, I usually let it go in one ear and out the other.
