The Tom Hanks segment tonight was prerecorded a few weeks ago, actually. I think I heard he's out of LA for the time being on his promotional tour.

I watched this when it aired and it was brilliant. I'd call it a perfect use of a guest making their first cameo appearance in 18 years. I was watching with my mom and when he plugged "Alpocalypse" she said "I missed that. At first I thought 'Why would he call his album Apocalypse? That's depressing...the end of the world, but I didn't notice the "L" and I thought it was clever" or something along those lines.
Life is a bowl of three-legged salamanders swimming around in an infinite ocean of strawberry jello...
