Crossword Puzzle reference!

I have an app (Android phone) that can download crosswords from lots of places on the internet. One of them, Jonesin' Crosswords, had this clue in today's puzzle (19-AUG-2010):

(down) 29. "Poodle ___" ("Weird Al" Yankovic album)

Yes, 3 letters. Yes, I already know the answer -- I am on this forum, right?

I remember that there was one in people magizines one time. It was a while ago so I don't remember what issue it was or what the clue and answer was.

I've seen clues for EATIT, (White n) NERDY and even WEIRDAL.

I have an old crossword from Games Magazine (are they still around??) in my archives that mentions Al, or "Eat It", I can't remember which at this time.
