Has Al ever appeared on Saturday Night Live, cos I recently started watching that show and am wondering if he did appear on it.

No.

From the first Bermuda chat:

[03:49] <Chatmaster> aintafraidofy3k asks: On what TV show would you love to perform?
[03:49] <bermuda> Harc to say... we've done some cool shows...
[03:50] <bermuda> I guess the obvious omissions have been Letterman & Saturday Night Live
[03:50] <bermuda> Either of those would be considered a major hurdle that we haven't been able to get over... yet.

Hey

I was wondering that before as well. I reckon he would be great on that as a special guest or something.

Also, as per the Midnight Star "Ask Al" Q&As for July, 1994:

Why haven't you ever been on Saturday Night Live? We think you'd be great. (Tonya, Wesley & Tracy Wright; Terrell E. Williams)

Thanks. I think the problem is, you have to be asked first.

as well as per the "Ask Al" Q&As for April, 1999:

Brian Siguenza of Cedar Rapids, IA asks: I noticed that David Letterman OR Saturday Night Live were not part of your TV credits - were you ever on either of those shows?

No, not so far - too bad, they're two of my favorites! (I have been used on those shows numerous times as a pop culture reference, however.)

Jimmy Fallon is an Al fan though (He also opened up for Al in concert once), so keep your fingers crossed. Al is not lost.

What are you guys talking about???? Al HAS TO been on SNL! I have a copy of it right here on video tape! In fact I even have it on DVD! Come to think of it, you all should have a copy of it on DVD, since it was just rereleased on the UVC!!!!! If you don't have it, go out and get it!

What I really don't get is why you would ask such a question. Why wouldn't Al be in the SNL video? He's the one who wrote the song, after all! What would you expect, Jimmy Fallon to be in Al's video instead of Al? Come on!

....Oh, wait a minute....you said "SNL," not "SLN" Okay, well...nevermind then! :lookround: :P
