Good point, Helen. I suppose from a business standpoint, Al continuing the tour was a good decision, but like I said, I think it helped him to go out and do what his parents were so supportive of, as a form of therapy. I am sure they would have wanted him to do that. That shows me that he cared very much for them. I never saw it any other way.
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

I watched the clip yesterday and it looks like it is going to be a very sad show. This will defanatly show a side of Al we have never seen before. Too bad i dont have the bio channel. I'll have to watch it somewhere else

What other items could be brought up that would constitute a sad show? I think honest show, revealing show might be more on the mark...

Yes, this is true, Jon. I'm hoping this is the only sad moment in the show. Getting Al to open up about himself is Shatner's main goal, so we might learn even more about him. I hope someone will be able to record this for those of us who don't get the Biography channel.

It would be interesting if you're right, and the show gives even those of us who think we know everything about Al (including the background of his parents' death) something new that we haven't heard before. Al has always been forthcoming, but I feel like those that interview him tend to hold back and only ask softball questions since he's Weird.

The link with the preview also has the full episode (in 5 parts) with Jenna Jameson. One could assume from this that the full episode with Al will be online sometime after it airs on TV.
