Also this is the topic for Al appearing on the TV show. There's a separate thread for these Hollywood Bowl shows.
I couldn't tell a dirt clod from a plate of caviar.

Why would you read the Simpsons related topics on this board if you were going to the show the next day and didn't want to know what would happen?

Fantastic show! Al's song was among the highlights, IMO, but it was all fantastic. The "In memoriam" segment was another favorite of mine.

Anyone picked up one of the action figures? I collected a bunch of the Simpsons figurines for a while, but stopped a while ago. Am considering getting the Al one.

I got one from ToysRUs.com a few weeks ago. Looks like the availability of these may be limited. It's now out of stock on TRU's site (though it says it' may be available in stores), it's only sold through third-party sellers on Amazon (cheapest is currently $42.98) and it's $69.99 at the ToyWiz.com link minnick27 posted.
