Spoiler:
I looked up a couple videos from his performance... yeah, he sounded phenomenal! A clever extended version of "Homer and Marge" that pays homage to his appearance in "Three Gays of the Condo" but one that doesn't require having seen that episode for context. A lot of jokes in there for Simpsons fans. I would've loved to be there, but I'm not anywhere on that side of the country. I'll refrain from posting a link as he still has two more performances but it's not too hard to find on YouTube. I wonder if he also did "Brain Freeze"?

He was introduced with a clip of "Brain Freeze" from the show (ending with Homer's "He who is tired of Weird Al is tired of life"), but no, he didn't play it live.

Lyrics (as interpreted by me, so correct me if I am wrong).
Spoiler:
Little ditty, about Homer and Marge
Her hair was as big, as his stomach was large
Yeah they met in school in '74
If you do the math, they're now 60 or more
Suckin' on a Squishy, outside the Kwik-E-Mart
Homers building arterial plaque in his tender teenage heart.
Homer says "Hey Marge, a lifetime of fun's about to start"
Ah, but then they got it on, and they made them a Bart.

Oh yeah, life goes on,
long after the grilled cheese sandwich is gone.
Oh yeah, life goes on
Long after the land of chocolate is gone.

Homer tried to jump the Springfield Gorge
Got himself in a feud with a bad neighbor named George.
Marge almost had a fling with her bowling instructor.
But she turned him down, so that guy never...kissed her.

Oh yeah, life goes on,
Long after the great Maude Flanders is gone.
Oh yeah, they say life goes on,
I won't even reference season 10 on.

Gonna let it rock, let it roll,
Here with all my nerds at the Hollywood Bowl
Hold on with two hands as long as you can
Take a your son to the steel mill that's chock full of gay men.

Oh yeah, the simpsons will go on
Long after the human race is all gone.
Oh yeah, they say life goes on,
You can buy my merch at weirdal.com. One Word.

Little diddy, about my favorite show,
Now I guess it's time for my accordion solo.
You're welcome.

Oh, okay. Thanks, Cheerios Applejacks Cheerios! (As far as who it is in the video with Al and Conan). Don't want to spoil anything).
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

I wonder if Al just sang the wrong words here — he meant to sing "Kwik-E-Mart", but accidentally combined it with "Tastee-Freez" (the original John Mellencamp line). I guess we'll find out if he sings "Kwik-E-Mart" in Saturday and Sunday's YouTube videos.

Spoiler:
I had to watch it like 5 times to find out he was saying Tasty Mart. I knew he meant Kwik-E, but I put it in the lyrics because that is what he sang

Spoiler:
Al also says "they walk on" after the "land of chocolate" line much like John Mellencamp does in the original "Jack and Diane".
Life is a bowl of three-legged salamanders swimming around in an infinite ocean of strawberry jello...

Spoiler:
The line was in fact supposed to be Kwik-E-Mart, as proven by last nights performance. Changed the lyrics! And he seems to have a bit of trouble with the "Take your son to the steel mill" line, as he starts singing the original songs lyrics.

Why are we puttibg everything in spoiler tags? Its not something Al is putting on his next album amd I doubt he is gonna perform it during a concert.

I used spoiler tags to avoid spoilage for anyone attending Saturday or Sunday's shows.
