CBS at 75?

Is AL-TV returning or did you find a nice interview? Just tell the folks here.

CBS at 75?

Post by Danhere »

I was watching the CBS at 75 special last night.

I don't know if they showed any of kid shows though because I was dozzing on and off.

(they did hint: at two shows: fat albert and capt. kangraroo)

anyways, if anybody on this board watched the special did they show a clip of weird al show(even though it was only one season) and if they did show kid shows what did they show?

like I said I was on and off during most of the show.

No they didn't. They should've had a montage of some of their best kids' programming/Saturday morning fare, but they dropped that ball.

Fun show otherwise. When all the CBS news guys were on stage I was expecting them to break into a chorus line (their combined ages are maybe 2700).

I wonder though, was Al in attendance?

Weird_el,

sorry about missunderstood that reply,

at start they did show capt kangroo and fatalbert though

but no kids in the rest fo the show. I think thats bad.

I think ABC and NBC did the same thing.

scotdog, from what I saw Idon't think Al was there.

(ironicly, our local upn affilate was showing Spyhard the same night

I loved the theme music(well until al's head blown up :) )
