Is AL-TV returning or did you find a nice interview? Just tell the folks here.

This is really really cool!!!

Edge of Fame Podcast - Weird Al is a Walking Party

From the page:

"In this episode of "Edge of Fame," Geoff Edgers follows the most successful funny song man of our time, and arguably all-time, “Weird Al” Yankovic.

It’s easy to dismiss Al as a novelty act, a guy whose schtick wore out not long after he threw on his fat suit. But the reality is that he has remained relevant – and immensely popular – for decades. His most recent album, Mandatory Fun, actually hit #1. Join Geoff as Al talks about his sheltered childhood, his shyness, his career longevity, and his trusted accordion."

From Al's twitter:

".@geoffedgers from the @washingtonpost has a new podcast called "Edge of Fame" - and this week it's all about yours truly (i.e. ME)! Culled from HOURS of interviews with people like @Lin_Manuel, @jimmyfallon, Jack Black & @Coolio!"

Listening now - it's really worth a listen!!

It's also just REALLY COOL to hear Suzanne being interviewed!! And I thiiiiink I might have heard a bit of Bermuda?? :ttr:

Very thorough. Very well done.

Al tweeted today that he is a guest on the latest episode of the Comedy Bang! Bang! podcast. I haven't yet listened myself but I just thought the rest of you might like to know (maybe some of you might have a long drive ahead of you tomorrow and would appreciate something new to listen to that is Al-related)

In case anyone doesn't feel like listening to the entire 90 minutes, I can confirm that only the first 20-25 minutes is the interview with Al talking about the new tour, and a few more comments in the last five minutes or so. The rest is character interviews where Al does pop in every now and then with jokes.

This one is, I'd say, a very sobering article. Very honest interview with Al. I would recommend every fan to read it. (And it has a nice artwork.)
