I just saw the first segmant or two of VH1's special, and they had Al talking about Devo's "Whip It." If only he made the list...

I'm not so upset that Al isn't on there. After all, he's a misunderstood genius. But how did Hanson get on the list.

Hanson. Now, I liked that Mmm Bop song as well as the next person, and it makes a lovely polka, but Hanson? In the top 100 songs?

I think there should make a show called "The 100 Weirdest Songs" with Al topping the list with They Might Be Giants a close second. :biggrin:

Unfortunately, "Whip It" (#97) is the only song Al discusses.

Wait... How did Smells Like Teen Spirit get #1? There is NO WAY that's any better than all the other songs over the past 25 years. Pity it wasn't 30 years, or Bohemian Rhapsody would've smashed it into the ground.

Radiohead, beck, alanis moressette, madonna, nirvanna, nine inch nails, devo, and many others are NOT dingbats. Why dont u try actually WATCHING the show before you make those conclusions? Jeez...some people are just chilidish.
