Amazon Studios announced the Daytime Emmy Award-winning show Little Big Awesome will premiere April 27 with six half-hour episodes on Prime Video in more than 200 territories.

Animated and produced by Titmouse (Niko and the Sword of Light, Big Mouth and Venture Bros.), Little Big Awesome features “Weird Al” Yankovic as The Sun. Yankovic also will provide musical performances, as will Grammy Award-winner Aimee Mann.

I take it Al & Aimee Mann are going to be series regulars in this rather than one time guest stars?

Ok, I've just found a way to watch it and Al is super cute! ^_^ Hope, there will be more episodes with Al and that he will sing in them.

I borrowed a friend's Amazon Prime account to watch Al's parts. I had to scrub through the episodes fast and just get to his segments to not impose on her time. The lesson behind "Sorry Mr. Sun" really resonated with me as I'm a big believer in apologies that are sincere and address the damage done rather than saying "sorry if you feel that way."

Question for those who had a chance to watch more in-depth. I'm compiling a pseudo-successor to The Songography and am aiming to document "every minuscule moment of musical miscellany." The press release info for this show says that Al would contribute to some songs. Did he do any for these two episodes? I think I caught every scene he was on and that the musical moments will be in the next slew of episodes dropping but I'd rather ask and be safe than sorry.

Edit: Apparently not!

Al's tweet is saying "the first 6 episodes" - I guess there will be more episodes(and more Al appearances) later?

Answering my own question - yes, it seems so. I saw a Japanese voice actor confirm that there will be more Little Big Awesome episodes.
